This is the Centennial Jr. High School Sports Column. Today we are talking about cross country skiing, which many of the students at Centennial do! This is the last week in skiing, (so sad) the final race is Saturday the 12th up on the Casper Mountain Ski Area to race a 3.5 km. It doesn’t seem like much, but it really is, especially when you go on the Bishops Loop (skiers you know what I mean;) Some may think that skiing is lame and shouldn’t be a sport, but it really is. Every day you have to ski really far and most of the time it’s up a really big hill. Red group, I know you get me!

Boys basketball for seventh and eighth graders is also almost over. Basketball is a fun sport. There is a C game today the 11th located at Centennial at 4, if you want to watch boys run around in sweaty uniforms.

The week of the 22-26, sixth grade basketball for girls and boys starts along with swimming. Have a great rest of your week sports lovers!
