Taylor Salas is known as "Salad" or "Tay Tay" around the school. She has been a straight A student since the first quarter of sixth grade. Taylor also has won the sportsmanship award in seventh grade. She has many friends and they consider her funny, kind, and outgoing. This year in eighth grade Taylor is an ambassador to help the new sixth grade students. Taylor was on the A team for volleyball and basketball. She was the setter for her volleyball team and the point guard for her basketball team. For sixth and seventh grade, Taylor successfully led her team to undefeated seasons. In basketball, she averaged over 15 points a game. Taylor loves to spend time with family and read. For fun, she loves to swim, practice her sports, or play video games. Unfortunately, Taylor was not able to play her basketball season because of an injury. She dislocated her knee cap four times and had to get surgery. She will continue to get better as she is doing Physical Therapy and will be back in the summer before High School!Â
